中国古代天文观测仪器‘浑天仪’
杨易龙师傅说：
坊间有许多不明事理的风水师，喜欢把风水与科学扯上关系，却不知其实风水与科学是两种不同的学科，古代风水学称作‘堪兴’这门流传数千年至今的学术，包含了众多学问，虽然当中有一部份涉及‘中国古代科学史’如：中国古代四大发明之一的[指南针]看风水必备的器具‘罗盘’。及中国古代天文星晨历法。杨师傅说：据他多年来的深入探讨研究，发现风水学是从古老‘易经’文化延伸的一门综合学科，包括人文地理学，地型山水学、环境景观学、方位建筑学、阴阳五行学、宇宙占星学等，与现代科学各有不同的学识与核心观点，不可硬把风水同科学拉扯在一起。

Fengshui is not a pure science.
Science does not have all the answers in the world we live in, not to mention a subject like Fengshui. Even a scientific subject like technology, science may not have the answer today. Fengshui is based on historical data in terms of thousands of years of observation (which is a step in the scientific process), much longer than the time scientific methods were widely adopted in industry. Using the binary mappings of I Ching, Gottried Leibniz invented the world’s first calculator using the binary (1,O) principle in I-Ching.
